Content Policy
Standards for records and content created in CareIntel AI.
Last updated: September 2026. This document is provided as a working draft and should be reviewed by a qualified legal adviser before launch.
Person-centred and respectful
Records should be factual, respectful and written about the person, not just the task. Avoid judgemental, discriminatory or demeaning language.
Accurate and timely
Record what happened, when, and who was involved. Do not backdate or alter records to misrepresent events — the audit trail records every change.
AI-generated drafts
- Treat AI output as a starting point, never a final record
- Check facts, names, dates, medication and risks carefully
- Edit to reflect the person's own voice and preferences
- Only an authorised manager or qualified professional may approve
Prohibited content
- Information unrelated to care or not needed for the record
- Unlawful, abusive, harassing or explicit material
- Other people's confidential data without a lawful reason
- Malware, spam or attempts to misuse the AI
Safeguarding
The platform does not replace your safeguarding procedures. Concerns must be escalated through your organisation's policy and the relevant local authority.
Enforcement
We may suspend accounts that breach this policy and will notify the customer's account owner.
Professional judgement. CareIntel AI supports care documentation, review preparation, compliance monitoring, governance reporting, and inspection readiness. It does not replace professional judgement. All AI-generated content must be reviewed, checked, edited, and approved by an authorised manager or qualified professional before use.
